Rare Book Research Fellowship

65,000.00

To enhance bibliographic control of the Law Library’s rare book collection, funding would be used to support a research fellow with language and subject matter expertise who could organize and create descriptive material (e.g. finding aids, catalog records, metadata) to facilitate collection discovery and use. Examples of rare book collections that could benefit from the assistance of a fellow include the rare Hispanic law materials (15th -19th Century), and Roman and Canon law materials in Latin. Funding would cover living expenses and a stipend for a 3-6 month fellowship.
