Wickersham Award

Established in 1996, the Wickersham Award recognizes a distinguished individual who has made a significant contribution to the legal profession. 

 

This annual Award honors the founder of the Friends of the Law Library of Congress, George W. Wickersham (1858–1936), who was an American lawyer and Presidential Cabinet Secretary.  

 

The Wickersham Award is one of the top honors to be bestowed upon by the Friends.
